Jennifer Lopez “The View” Video: I’m NOT Getting Back Together With Marc Anthony
The pre-taped interview began with extended thunderous applause and a “J.Lo” chant as Lopez joined the co-hosts. Among those cheering was the actress-singer’s own mom, who actually received a standing ovation. As her mother looked on crying, Lopez said, “She’s clutch… I have a daughter now, so I understand it.”
Lopez touted filming “Shades of Blue” in New York, and shared, “It’s probably the most difficult thing that I do, besides being a mom. Don’t want to mess that up! As far as work goes, it’s definitely the most challenging role for me.” As the drama’s lead, Lopez called the show “incredibly demanding emotionally.”
Going back to the topic of motherhood, the talk show showcased photos of Lopez’s twins. “They’re amazing. It’s hard for me to believe nine years has gone by since I had them. It flew by. Hate that part,” she commented, revealing her kids are currently home-schooled but asking to attend regular elementary school. “They’re two beautiful, little souls who bring joy to me every day.”
That led Sunny Hostin to bring up Marc Anthony, the father of Lopez’s children, and the exes’ on-stage kiss at the Latin Grammys last fall. Asked about getting back together, she insisted, “Marc and I are good how we are right now. You know what I mean? There’s a reason we’re not together. But we’re great friends. We’re parents together. We’re even working on a Spanish album together. That has been even better for us — we met working. That’s where we’re really magical, when we’re on stage together and stuff like that. That’s where we’re good, so we leave it there.”
Of course, that’s in line with what Gossip Cop has consistently and accurately reported. While outlets like RadarOnline falsely claimed Lopez and Anthony were going to go public with a renewed romance, we rightly said the former couple was not back together. As the broadcast continued, Lopez went on to tell the panelists about her Las Vegas residency and her upcoming NBC competition “World Of Dance.” She also played a game called “Name That Dance” with co-host Sara Haines and fellow guest Jennifer Beals.
As Gossip Cop has reported, the superstar is currently on a press tour for her “Shades of Blue.” Lopez was on the “Today” show on Thursday, and stopped by “The Tonight Show” on Wednesday. Lopez also appeared on “The View” nearly a year ago, during which she actually called herself “chunky.” Watch the new interview below!
