Jennifer Lopez says she’s “sad” about Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes’ split.

The singer-actress was asked about her friends’ divorce on “Entertainment Tonight,” and revealed, “I’m sad for them. They’re both really lovely people, and just like Marc and I, it’s not what you want to happen.”

“You fight and you try until you realize you can’t anymore,” shared Lopez.

Lopez says she hasn’t talked to Cruise or Holmes since their breakup, but she’s “thought about it a lot.”
