Jennifer Lopez and Steven Tyler Officially Named “American Idol” Judges

Ryan Seacrest announced today what Gossip Cop was the first outlet in the world to announce back in July – Jennifer Lopez and Steven Tyler have been tapped to be new judges on “American Idol.”
As expected, the two music icons join longtime judge Randy Jackson for the show’s tenth season.
Auditions will be held in Los Angeles today, followed by New Jersey next week.
Additionally, Jimmy Iovine, the chairman of Interscope/Geffen/A&M Records, will mentor the contestants.
The new season will premiere in January on FOX.
