I think that some folks rush into marriage because they get caught up in the initial passion and believe that is enough to make the marriage work before they know each other better enough to have made the committment in the first place. Too many people are in a really fast hurry to prove something to the world before they know themselves well enough to know what they can or cannot deal with in life. Finding out after you make that committment of marriage to someone that you cannot deal with the committment is the reason why the divorce rate is so high. People just don’t take the time to find that out before they say I do. But, I can agree with you on the fact that once children are brought into the equation people should try harder to work it out, however, when two people fall out of love for each other, it does not mean they love their children any less, but to stay in a failed relationship where there can be more damage done emotionally to the children if there is constant fighting and bickering is not healthy for them either.

Jennifer Lopez is only telling her side of the story, Marc is not even talking, and a small part of me believes this may be a publicity stunt to promote there Latin American Idol-type reality show. Per her interview with Vanity Fair, on one hand he’s not right for her, but on the other she’s going to still be working with him because they make magic. That doesn’t make sense. I also read that if they say they are seperated but still working together, sponsers will take on their show because it will draw viewers.

Don’t be surprised if they never divorce, because I believe this is all a publicity stunt to promote their show.

I find this whole relationship and its aftermath to be bizarre. She can’t seem to stop talking..about herself mostly..but still talking two weeks after they separated. Usually people try to be discrete, but she does not seem to be in any pain at all, which is not necessarily a bad thing, but she could keep her mouth shut for a bit for the sake of her children. He has basically gone underground, which is better to me. It is all what she has to say and how she feels, which makes it all very one-sided and therefore, to me only one-half true.

I think people want marriage to always make them feel good and when it starts to make them feel anything else but passion and over-the-top exhilaration, they want out. “‘Til death do us part” has gone by the wayside and “‘Til i can’t handle your ass” has taken its place.

agreed. jlo should’ve known what she was getting herself into marc is an ugly person inside and out. there have also been allegations of him for domestic abuse before but jlo didn’t care then and im sorry but she gets no sympathy from me. why talk about this if you’re not going to flat out tell what happened she is only leaving holes for others to speculate and i hate when celebs do that. why bother commenting if you are not going to flat out and tell it like it is. and im sure being with her was not all that great either. either way i can’t stand either one of these losers…

Jennifer Lopez is a homewrecker. She had been carrying an off-and-on again illicit affair with Marc Anthony for many years before he shamelessly dumped Dayanara Torres. Dayanara Torres is a real victim of proven adultery unlike other actresses who have milked attention over tabloid gossip and false stories ( like America’s so-called sweetheart who was never actually betrayed). There was even documented evidence of Marc Anthony sneaking around Hollywood and Miami with Lopez even way before he was separated. Gross. She even went to a concert and premiere of his openly when she was still his mistress. It astounds what women like Lopez, Julia Roberts, Madonna, and Kate Hudson get away with because of spin and Hollywood favoritism while other actresses get wrongly hated so much over false accusations & misconceptions while people like Lopez are repeatedly proven to be scandalous. Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony are both narcissists and philanderers! I was rooting for them to end. It is no surprise that they ended and I am happy they are done.
It is hypocritical how these entertainment shows and media just slid their scandal under the door while making them look like some wonderful couple.

My sources say they were both cheating on each other and were aggressive/disrespectful towards each other in many ways. Also Lopez has taken it even further, by planting sources and getting her friends to trash talk Anthony in tabloids by making herself look like some victim. Lopez has no credibility. She is our generation’s Elizabeth Taylor ( another scandalous woman who did not deserve so much respect). At least, ET was talented.
Neither Lopez or Marc Anthony are relationship-people. They need to stay single and not ruin anybody’s else lives.

Of course, the tabs are going to link her to her co-stars and any new man in her vicinity. That is to be expected.
