Jennifer Lopez WILL Perform At World Cup
Jennifer Lopez will be performing at the World Cup’s opening ceremony on Thursday, despite FIFA — the soccer tournament’s governing body — previously stating she’d be unable to participate, due to “production issues.”
Her rep tells Gossip Cop, “Jennifer has always wanted to participate in the World Cup opening ceremonies. We have been trying to work out scheduling and logistics. Any statements to the contrary were premature.”
“Jennifer would not want to disappoint her fans or fans of [soccer]. She will be there,” added the rep.
Lopez is slated to sing the official FIFA World Cup song “We Are One (Ole Ola)” with Pitbull and Brazilian singer Claudia Leitte.
No word yet whether Lopez will be performing in her “Tight Pants.”
