Jennifer Lopez “New Boyfriend” Claim NOT True
Jennifer Lopez does NOT have a “new Latino boyfriend,” despite a report. Gossip Cop can exclusively debunk the story.
On Tuesday, MediaTakeOut is blaring, “Jennifer Lopez DROPS Drake . . . She’s Photo’d Out . . . With Her NEW LATINO BOYFRIEND!!” The site asserts in the accompanying story, “Jennifer Lopez is officially OVER Drake – just one week after he’s caught CREEPING on her, with insta-vixen Rosee Divine. Jenny from the block lost her mind for a moment, releasing some insta-thot-like photos of her own to compete. But no more.”
Oh? “Jennifer Lopez was spotted out last night in Miami — getting cozy with her new boyfriend. The two were also seen dancing up a storm on the dance floor,” writes the webloid, urging readers to “check out the below videos.” And the outlet does indeed have footage of Lopez dancing with a guy that is most definitely not Drake.
But what proof does MediaFakeOut have that the man is Lopez’s “new Latino boyfriend”? None, of course. But unlike MTO, Gossip Cop doesn’t just jump to conclusions and make assumptions. We investigate and fact-check. Had the bad blog done the same, it would know Lopez’s dance partner is, as we’re exclusively told, just a “friend of a friend” and nothing more.
Of course, this isn’t the first time MediaTakeOut has misread a situation because the site decided to rely on photos/video and nothing more. That’s why, in 2015, readers were treated to a tall tale about Lopez “flirting” with Diddy at an AMAs party. That was also the same year MediaFakeOut wrongly claimed Lopez and Ben Affleck were “back together.” Clearly, MTO’s “reporting” on the singer and her “boyfriends” has not gotten any better with time.
