Jennifer Lopez is “Miserable” and “Missing” Ben Affleck, Claims Tabloid

“J.Lo: Miserable & Missing Ben!” screams a headline from Star, which claims that Jennifer Lopez is “in the middle of a midlife meltdown” over her ex-fiancé, Ben Affleck.

According to the tabloid, Lopez’s supposed crisis erupted after she watched Affleck accept a Golden Globe for directing Argo earlier this month.

A so-called “friend” of the singer-actress tells the mag, “Ben winning that award hit her in a weird way,” explaining, “She used to brag that she’d win an Oscar by the time she was 45, and that doesn’t seem likely.”

Lopez is also jealous of Affleck’s love life, alleges the tab’s purported “insider.”

Star’s so-called “source” says, “Ben’s wife [Jennifer Garner] is very successful and respected in the industry and J.Lo can tell that she and Ben are very happily married.”

(Right, because a true friend of Lopez would undoubtedly refer to her pal as “J.Lo.”)

Also, it’s interesting that the mag quotes someone as saying that Affleck and Garner seem happily married considering it recently claimed the couple was having serious marital problems.

Anyhow, the supposed insider goes on to add that after seeing how Affleck and Garner were together at the Golden Globes, “She looked at her own relationships: she’s dating a backup dancer who’s nearly half her age and riding her coattails.”

The magazine claims that “seeing her ex so fulfilled was a wake-up call” for Lopez, who is now feeling “very embarrassed about her own life.”

No, she’s NOT.

Lopez and Smart recently celebrated their one-year anniversary, and when Gossip Cop saw the couple at a Golden Globes after-party, they looked truly smitten together.

It seems it’s the tabloid, rather that Lopez, disapproving of the romance.

Also, Lopez beat out Oprah Winfrey as Forbes’ ”World’s Most Powerful Celebrity” last spring, so we’re pretty sure her career is not suffering either.

In any case, a source close to Lopez tells Gossip Cop the tab’s meltdown tale is “garbage.”
