Jennifer Lopez Reportedly Leaving American Idol

Jennifer Lopez is reportedly leaving “American Idol.”

The singer-actress will not return next fall for her third season, according to EOnline.

The site says Lopez is too busy with other projects to continue judging the music competition.

Just yesterday, the “On The Floor” singer told Ellen DeGeneres she had not made up her mind yet about her third season, but admitted, “I miss doing other things. It really does lock you down.”

You may recall, last year Lopez pretty much said the same thing — and came back.

Gossip Cop has reached out to a rep for Lopez.

FOX has no comment.

    I hope she doesn’t come back. The show has become all about promoting her and I’m sick of it. However, I’ll bet this is just a ploy for more money. It’s ridiculous what they are paying these celebrities to “judge” these shows.

    I hope she comes back!!! She really knows what she’s talking about. 55 million albums doesnt lie, and she has been where the contestants have been!!! Plus, I love seeing her outfits every show!!!

    I never cared for her. I watched few episodes of the auditions when she first started on AI but couldn’t watch her. I didn’t she added anything to the show.

    If she leaves maybe I’ll watch it again.

    How nice,since A.I. is the reason for her comeback.But,shes all about money,remember last Olympics,she wanted money to carry the torch for P.R.and run several blocks.No one else did,its an honor,but shes greedy.If A.I can cough up afew more millions,she’ll be there!!!
