Jennifer Lopez Battling Mom Over Kids?

Hey, we’ll give the National Enquirer a couple of creativity points for this one.

The tabloid says Jennifer Lopez is now battling with her mother Guadalupe over how to raise her four-year-old twins Max and Emme.

(What a nice change of pace from the typical bogus stories involving Lopez and either estranged husband Marc Anthony or new boyfriend Casper Smart!)

The Enquirer claims the “American Idol” judge wants to bring the tykes with her on her world tour, but “Grandma Guadalupe wants the kids to stay home in Los Angeles.”

A so-called “music industry insider” explains, “Jennifer thinks the twins would have fun going along on the road with her, but Guadalupe wants them to live more like normal children.”

The magazine says Anthony has joined his mother-in-law’s side in the argument.

“Marc and Guadalupe agree that the twins have been through a lot, between their parents’ split, moving from New York to Los Angeles and now suddenly seeing their mother with a new man,” says the tab’s “insider.”

The Enquirer source goes on to say, “But Jennifer doesn’t see it as a problem. She wants Emme and Max with her, and bringing along several nannies isn’t a problem for her.”

The funny thing in all of this is that if Lopez does take her kids on tour, the Enquirer and other tabloids will blast her for disrupting their lives.

If she leaves them in Los Angeles, she’ll get slammed for abandoning her babies.

Either way, there’s absolutely NO fight between Lopez and her mom over the decision.

A rep for Lopez calls the Enquirer story “inaccurate.”

    And we should trust them because???? If their “story” is true, she can’t win: if she leaves them home, she “abandons” them, and if she takes them with her, they “cant live normal lives”. She obviously cares about her kids, all parents do. She will do what she knows is best for them, and she and her mom have always showed signs of having a great relationship. Can the Enquierer find something actually newsworthy for once?

    @Sophia why don’t you look at Paul McCartney’s grown children they always went on tour with their parents and turned out perfectly normal whats the big deal about Jennifer taking Max & Emme on the road with her. as for having more kids that’s pushing it at her age after the difficult pregnancy she had with the twins. what did you expect from the enquirer it’s a tabloid they almost never fact check their stories nor care if they get simple info wrong for example in the first story about Joanne Woodward after Paul Newman died they said she was already 79 when she didn’t actually turn 79 until February 27th 2009

    The tabloids should leave children out of their SH** completely. There should be more protection of children in the USA. The USA is turning out a generation of hatred because of the media. I honestly thought that the USA protected children more than they do.

    That’s what I was trying to say, her kids are going to be just fine with whatever she decides to do. Like all parents, she only wants what is best for them, and you can never trust the Enquierer these days
