Jennifer Lopez Banned Fans At Hotel From Making Eye Contact?
Jennifer Lopez did NOT ban fans and fellow diners from making eye contact with her at a Los Angeles hotel’s restaurant, despite a new tabloid report. Gossip Cop can exclusively correct this claim. We’re told it’s “totally false.”
Lopez recently ate at The London West Hollywood, and according to In Touch, the singer gave the staff a “list of crazy rules.” A so-called “source” tells the tabloid, “No one was allowed to make eye contact with Jennifer under any circumstance.” The tabloid’s questionable insider also claims that Lopez “refused to talk to anyone” and supposedly “made her security stop fans from getting near her for autographs or selfies.”
Gossip Cop checked in with a source close to Lopez, and we’re exclusively assured that none of that happened, and the tabloid’s allegation is both “B.S.” and “totally false.” We’re told that the singer was at The London for an “American Idol” after-party, during which she was “nothing but lovely to everyone.”
Of course, In Touch doesn’t exactly have a great track record when it comes to accurately reporting about Lopez. We recently busted the magazine for wrongly claiming the singer had gotten a “boob job” over the holidays. We also debunked the tabloid’s false rumor about Casper Smart going “ballistic” over Lopez and Diddy allegedly flirting at her American Music Awards after-party. Like those tall tales, Lopez’s so-called eye contact ban is completely bogus.
