Jennifer Lopez Breaks Down and Cries After Lovelorn Performance

Jennifer Lopez got emotional about lost loves during a show at Mohegan Sun on Saturday night, breaking down in tears after a dance performance meant to evoke her past relationships.

After singing “If You Had My Love,” Lopez told the sold-out audience, “That’s the first song I wrote about love. And this is the last song I wrote about love. A lot has happened since then.”

As she belted out “Until It Beats No More,” the “American Idol” judge was joined by dancers made to look like exes including Diddy, Cris Judd, Ben Affleck and soon-to-be ex-husband Marc Anthony.

Describing the performance to the audience as a “trip down memory lane,” Lopez teared up and began to cry.

The crowd responded with a standing ovation.

    I agree with you 110%. In her clothing line commercials, she’s walking around like she’s a 20 year old. Her parading guys dressed like her exes on stage is just pathetic.

    I’ve never been a fan of hers and this sure doesn’t help change my mind.

    So she dressed them to look like that, its her performance and then she starts crying? Woman please. I’m sure she did rehearsals , if she thought it was too much for her she didn’t have to do it. Just another way of looking for attention.

    I totally agree with what most people have said. When I read this my initial reaction was to tear up (I’m just like that), but then I kinda got mad, rolled my eyes and realized that someone as shrewd and performance-minded as she is, is most likely doing all of this for publicity. It really makes me mad, because these days you never know who’s real and who’s just a fake, and that especially holds true for so-called celebrities. Like someone else said– she’s pathetic. If they really meant that much to her, why sensationalize it and make it a thing of gossip? I just don’t get people sometimes.
