CLAIM: Marc Anthony Betrayed Jennifer Lopez with Eva Longoria

“J. Lo Betrayed by Marc Again,” reads the headline of a piece in Life & Style which claims that following his split with Jennifer Lopez, Marc Anthony has reached out to Eva Longoria for comfort.
According to the tab, “In a long, tearful, anguished conversation,” Anthony told Longoria “about his heartache, his pain, his disappointment.”
The big problem, says the magazine, is that “The ‘Desperate Housewives’ star is the one woman Marc shouldn’t be calling if he wants his split with Jennifer to remain on good terms.”
Life & Style explains that “there’s a history of bad blood between Jennifer and Eva,” and that’s why “Marc’s calls to Eva behind Jennifer’s back — telling her all the deepest, darkest secrets about his marriage to the ‘American Idol’ judge — are the ultimate betrayal.”
No, the betrayal here is to the magazine’s readers.
A rep for Longoria says she has NOT been speaking to Anthony, and his rep dismisses the story, too, telling Gossip Cop, it’s all a bunch of “garbage.”
In fact, contrary to Life & Style‘s premise of growing acrimony, Lopez and Anthony were spotted together yesterday in the Hamptons.
