Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony on the Outs?

Rumors of Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony splitting up have been around since about the time the two said, “I do.”

In the latest round, Now magazine claims in an article titled, “J-Lo & Marc Anthony: Falling Apart,” that their recent deluxe two-week vacation in the Mediterranean “wasn’t enough to stop the cracks deepening in their marriage.”

The tab quotes an unnamed source saying Lopez invited “a bunch of her friends” and Anthony “brought three of his own buddies,” and that they “had hardly any time alone and the two entourages barely mixed at all.” The source adds, “Marc and Jen don’t do anything romantic any more and they’re constantly fighting over the smallest things. They really need time for each other, but it isn’t happening.”

First of all, they didn’t have two “entourages” of friends. They only had their normal “team” of assistants, security, etc.

And second – and more importantly – the story is completely not true, says Anthony’s rep.

On a related note, the couple is preparing for a trip to Washington, DC, where Anthony will be honored with a Lifetime Achievement Award on September 16 (his birthday!) at the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute’s annual awards gala.

    Of course their rep’s are going to deny it.They don’t want to admit that their mariage has been over for a long time now.Marc cheated on JLO in Las Vegas.The Hispanic press have proof of it! JLO hasn’t forgiven him .I think she waiting until she promotes her next projects ( new movie and music) to divorce him.In fact he’s been around town partying solo.The vacation and birthday day party were just for appearances.

    Some tabloids rely on readers with short memories to help them stay in business. Since their marriage 5 years ago, Marc & Jennifer have contradicted each negative report and prediction they’ve been subjected to. That included a newspaper’s insistence that the couple’s “divorce” would be announced at MSG this year, on Valentine’s Day (Wrong again). . . Thank you, Gossip Cop, for your website!
