She looks amazing. How is she able to change her face in Hunger Games and Silver Linings and then X Men. She doesn’t look the same person ever! She was born to be a versatile actor and Dior did a fantastic job choosing her for their campaign.

She’s slowly becoming the ultimate queen of Hollywood. Two franchises, a Dior contract, highest paid, 3 David O Russell films, and Lionsgate buying The Glass Castle for her.

She is a pretty, healthy girl that they turned into someone overly thin and almost gaunt and pretty much unrecognizeable. Look at those tiny arms. Photo shopping should be outlawed.

What the hell? I will never understand hollywood. How the hell can you photoshop a healthy, beautiful to a position where she is no longer recognisable again.
Plus recent photos of Jennifer shows that she has lost too much weight. I am choosing to base that on her promotion schedule because I refuse to accept she is joining the group of desperate to be thin which Lily Collins just paid her subscription.

Why pay all that money for her, then air-brush her to the point that no one knows it’s her. Jen is an ok looking girl, but she is no model. These pictures look nothing like her, so why did they bother to hire her? No harm to Jen, but the pictures are a joke.

This is why young girls think they have to be super skinny. This should be against the law. She specifically stated that she didn’t lose weight for The Hunger Games so young girls didn’t starve them selves to look like her, this is undermining her standpoint on her weight.

I find it interesting, that Jennifer Lawrence do all these interviews where she takes a stand against “thin Hollywood” standards and then she does a campaign for a brand where she is made to look like she abides by them??

I have personally believed Jennifer to be a sincere girl, so I would think she might be disappointed in the amount of photo-shop Dior has used for this campaign. I know I am!! There is no doubt that she looks beautiful in those pictures, but she does not look “real”, and that is a shame.

Shes a beautiful girl and she looks so beautiful in the pics she so talented shes an amazing actress and anyways all the actresses sometimes look airbrush just like kristrn stewart she sometimes looks like shes airbrushed in the photoshoots like the photoshoot she did in the magazine W where she looks all hollywood glamour that was airbrushed and the magazine she did in elle(i dont know if it was paris)but in the cover her arms look thin and her neck look thin and kristen dosent really have thin arms im not saying she has fat arms but they dont look that thin.Jennifer looks beautiful in the pics and if you dont like then dont look at them.

I agree! This is not the image she puts out there. I wonder what she thinks about the photos. She looks nothing like this. Dior should be ashamed posting pictures of what they think she should look like.

If it did not say Jennifer’s name I would not have know it was her. It does not even look like her, she is a beautiful women but these photos do nothing for her I prefer her to look like her. This ad does not make me want to buy Dior. I do hope she wins Sunday and hope she looks herself.

Her skin is not that perfect and not porcelain like in these photos. She has tons of birthmarks all over her neck but in these photos they were all erased. Her skin looks too white but she has golden skin. They gave her Asian skin which she does not have. She has a bit of redness on her face. Too much airbrushed. She does not look American.

These Dior pics highlight a different side of Jennifer’s look, which you need a good model to do. A model can look several different ways, depending on hair and make up. Just like she’s different in her films, she doesn’t just have one expression, zero emotion, she isn’t always breathing through her mouth and stuttering her lines. She can act, she can model, and she’s a genuinely nice person, not a slut. No wonder so many people are jealous of her.

Dior gave her a classic 1930′s glamour look–thin eyebrows, sleek hair, simple lines. No wonder so many teen girls can’t recognize her, they have no frame of reference for these photos. Take a look at some pics of Marlena Dietrich, Carole Lombard, Hedy Lamarr. They were the inspiration for this Dior campaign.

What did you expect Dior to do? Take her to the beach and just snap pictures? They have a whole creative team that develops a look, a design direction, a marketing strategy, etc. Judging from the comments of the complainers on here, you’re not the market they’re trying to reach. You couldn’t afford their prices and you don’t have the taste level to appreciate the goods. People who understand what these pics represent are the audience they’re trying to reach.

If they didn’t say it’s her, I wouldn’t even know. So I don’t think it’s good selling point, if people cannot recognise it’s Jennifer Lawrence, only those who really like her or those who seen this and it was stated it was her .. normally the poster ads don’t really list the name of the celebs?! Since they expected people to know who they are as they are famous.

Honestly, the stars themselves don’t fight among themselves, why do fans keeps egging on each other.

Have you seen Kate Upton on the cover of Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue? She’s a model and she has a similar build as Jennifer. In fact, this is Kate’s second year in a row on the cover of SI, something no one else has achieved. Just proves that men prefer this body type, not a stick.

And all the Victoria Secret models have real figures, they aren’t flat as a pancake, either. There are many different kinds of models, they aren’t all runway models for fashion houses who want to show their clothes on hangers.

I do think Jennifer looks beautiful. She is a beautiful girl.

But I also think she looks unnaturally thin and inhumanely perfect. I’m sure that was the look Dior was going for, but I just worry for the body-image they inflict on women by doing this amount of airbrushing on a girl who is perfectly beautiful to begin with.
It kinda makes me wonder, when they have to use c-tech to make their clothes look good enough for an ad. Who are they really designing for? Certainly not real women with healthy bodies.
