Jennifer Lawrence: “I Don’t Know If I’ll Ever Get Married” (VIDEO)
Jennifer Lawrence says, “I don’t know if I’ll ever get married,” and adds that she’s “okay with that.” The actress made the revelation to Diane Sawyer in an interview to air Thursday on “Nightline” that was teased on “Good Morning America.” See the clip below for what else Lawrence had to say.
Lawrence, who’s promoting Mockingjay: Part II, the last film in the Hunger Games franchise, made the remark in response to being asked what has changed in the last year. After noting how her five-year relationship with Nicholas Hoult ended, Sawyer asks Lawrence about marriage to which she answered,”I don’t know if I’ll ever get married, and I’m ok with that. I don’t feel like I need anything to complete me.”
And while Lawrence is unsure about marriage, she says, “I definitely want to be a mother,” she said.
Interestingly, Lawrence took a slightly difference stance in a new December Vogue cover story. She tells the magazine, “I feel like if I find that one person who I want to spend the rest of my life with, who I want to be the father of my children, that I would absolutely not [expletive] it up,” adding, “But I’m also not banking on that.”
Lawrence is no stranger to wedding talk, having been bombarded with relationship and marriage rumors throughout her career. Just last week, Gossip Cop debunked the rumor that she was causing trouble in Anna Faris and her Passengers costar Chris Pratt’s marriage.
