Jennifer Lawrence’s Friends Think Amy Schumer Is “Bad Influence”?
Jennifer Lawrence’s friends do NOT think Amy Schumer is a “bad influence” on the actress, despite a new tabloid report. Gossip Cop can exclusively debunk this rumor. We’re told it’s “completely made-up.”
Lawrence and Schumer recently became very close friends, and are currently writing a screenplay together. But according to the National Enquirer, Lawrence’s other pals supposedly feel Schumer is encouraging the Oscar winner to drink and party out of control. A so-called “insider” tells the tabloid, “No one thinks it’s a coincidence that Jen’s outrageous behavior ramped up after she and Amy started palling around.”
The tabloid’s dubious source goes on to allege that Lawrence’s friends are considering staging an intervention if she doesn’t cut back on her so-called “boozing binges.” Adds the magazine’s questionable insider, “Jen’s inner circle is also urging her to take a step back from Amy because they think she’s a bad influence.”
Gossip Cop checked in with a source close to Lawrence, and we’re exclusively assured that the tabloid’s entire report is “completely made-up.” We’re told hard-working actress isn’t “partying” too much, nor does anyone in her life have issues with Schumer.
Remember, the Enquirer is the same tabloid Gossip Cop corrected when it absurdly claimed Lawrence was on the verge of a “nervous breakdown” and planned on quitting show business. Obviously, time has proven that to be false, and the magazine’s new Schumer story is equally untrue.
