Jennifer Lawrence Runs To Safety After Fans Knock Down Barricade (VIDEO)
Jennifer Lawrence had scary encounter on Wednesday when a group of excited fans knocked down a barricade separating her from a crowd outside “The Late Show with David Letterman” studio, forcing the actress to run to safety. Lawrence was heading toward her car after her appearance on the show when she decided to stop and sign some autographs for fans. But the Mockingjay star barely signed one photo when the barricade was toppled over. See the video below.
Lawrence reacted immediately by rushing past her security guards and into an awaiting car. Thankfully, she was not hurt. Prior to her close call, Lawrence had charmed the audience at “The Late Show” by singing a memorable duet of “Have a Holly Jolly Christmas” with Letterman, impersonating Chris Farley, and seating herself behind the talk show host’s desk to introduce a clip from her movie The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1.
Lawrence has been on a major media blitz promoting her new film with her co-stars Liam Hemsworth and Josh Hutcherson.
