Jennifer Hudson was joined by the Sandy Hook Chorus during her performance at Super Bowl 47 on Sunday.

The choir features 26 students from the Newtown, Connecticut school, where 20 first-graders and six adults were horrifically killed on December 14.

The group’s moving rendition of “America the Beautiful” came less than two months after the tragedy.

Interesting her own town had over 500 killings, but no national stage to sing. BUT a few lilly white kids get killed and it’s OMGGGGGGOOOODD! NOOOO!

Its called a paycheck that’s all. Sad that lily white or otherwise these children were gunned down and slaughtered like animals……unacceptable!! I do think that being as high profile as she is now and coming from Chicago herself, she could have spoken out about these unthinkable killings in her city long before now, particularly those involving children.

few little white kids? 20 is a few? are you f*cking kidding me?! the reason why everyone is up in arms about what happened was because the shooting occurred in a school where INNOCENT children were gunned down for some reason. mind you, that reason we all want, we can’t get. and i live in NYC, shootings happen here too. we’re trying to prevent them from happening. but shootings still occur. you can’t predict what human beings will do
