Jennifer Garner, Ben Affleck “Second Honeymoon” Claim NOT True
According to the current issue of In Touch, “Ben Affleck is whisking Jennifer Garner off on a romantic getaway to save their marriage.” A so-called “insider” claims the actor has “convinced her to go back to Turks and Caicos with him,” the site of their 2005 wedding. “She hasn’t made him any promises, but the fact that they are going away together to their special place says a lot about the future of their relationship,” alleges the supposed source.
In fact, the snitch says Affleck “sees this trip as a huge step — he wants it to be a second honeymoon.” The magazine goes on to describe the supposed vacation as his “biggest gesture yet” to win Garner back. “He even got the kids involved in planning,” alleges the outlet’s tipster.
Not so fast. This alleged trip is tabloid fantasy, not reality. As a source exclusive told Gossip Cop last week, “Jennifer did not take Ben back. There are no plans for a second honeymoon anywhere. They are 100 percent still separated and focused on co-parenting for the kids’ sake.”
Gossip Cop isn’t surprised the tabloid was caught with such an untrue tale. After all, as we’ve already pointed out, In Touch has been flip-flopping on Garner and Affleck’s divorce plans for months. And this “second honeymoon” tale comes after the magazine previously claimed Garner changed the locks on Affleck. Gossip Cop is now ready to see how the outlet flip-flops next.
