it woudnt be questioned by annyone else. its silly really. people say it on a daily basis . its the ”IT” word

I remember going to school in the 80′s and hearing kids taunt the special needs kids in our school with the same words now by no means do I think that Jen meant to hurt people, however it was insensitive and ignorant. A 41 year old woman she should be educated and mature enough to monitor her language especially on a morning TV show , she is one of the highest paid actresses in Hollywood and supposedley an American Sweetheart? She needs to have her publicist sit down and write an apology ASAP.

all of a sudden people are complaining about the word ‘retard’. why now? why not 10 yrs ago?…i don’t get it. 1. everyone is taking the word out of context. 2. She wasn’t intentionally hurting anyone or making fun of anyone….looks to me, she’s making fun of herself. 3. Freedom of Speech…you all can’t have it both ways…you want freedom in this country but yet want to censor certain words….so if that’s the case, take the word ‘b*tch’ out….its derogatory toward us women…people use it every day. or how about the N word? you can’t pick and choose words to censor

Of course she should apologize.
She’s too old to be talking like a silly teenager and b/c she is one of H’woods highest paid actresses, we [the fans, audience, etc.] expect a certain amount of maturity, respect and decorum from her.
