Another Star magazine cover, another Gossip Cop correction.
This time around, in a story titled “Jen’s Revenge,” the rag claims that after Jennifer Aniston was allegedly shafted by Bradley Cooper (also not true), she is now hot and heavy with “The Bounty” co-star Gerard Butler.
Star gushes that Aniston has “hunky Gerard Butler bending over backward to win her heart!” and that the two sometimes spend time in her trailer together when not filming. The tab goes on with grade school glee: “They often practice kissing scenes even after the cameras stop rolling!” Gossip Cop swears it has read facsimiles of this quotation at least a half dozen times in other on-set fauxmances.
It seems the Star’s proof of the pairing grew out of a series of paparazzi shots in which Aniston and Butler had their arms around each other after shooting a scene. How . . . scandalous?
A Butler confidante categorically denied the co-stars are coupling. “He’s not dating Aniston,” said the actor’s friend. And Butler himself has even stated, “That is just annoying. People say I’m always dating so and so, and sometimes it’s three people in one day… It gets ridiculous.”
