Jennifer Aniston NOT Leaning On Brad Pitt To Get Over Mom’s Death, Despite Report
Jennifer Aniston is not leaning on Brad Pitt for help getting over her mom’s death, despite a shameful new report. Gossip Cop can exclusively bust the made-up story.
As Gossip Cop reported, Aniston’s mom Nancy Dow died in May 2016. Now nearly a year later, In Touch writes in its new edition, “Still grieving over her mom’s death, Jennifer Aniston leans on Brad Pitt.” The article asserts that the actress has been having a tougher time moving on than anticipated, and she’s “turned to an unexpected place for comfort.”
“She’s been looking to [Pitt] for guidance and advice,” a so-called “source” claims to the tabloid. “Her husband, Justin Theroux, is trying to help, but Brad understands her better than anyone else. Jen needs Brad more than ever right now.” Gossip Cop isn’t sure what real person would say “her husband, Justin Theroux” in conversation like that. We’re also not sure what real person would discuss something as deeply personal as grief over a mother’s passing with a tabloid.
The article goes on to detail Aniston’s up-and-down relationship with her late mom, and Pitt’s past and supposedly current involvement. “Brad knows the history of Jen’s complicated relationship with Nancy,” the outlet’s purported tipster explains, adding, “He has been tremendously helpful… Jennifer is so grateful to have him back in her life.”
And therein lies the reason this story was concocted. Gossip Cop recently confirmed Aniston and Pitt are communicating again, and now In Touch is pretending it knows the subject of those conversations. Disgustingly, the tabloid chose to exploit the death of Aniston’s mother for its angle.
This isn’t the first time, either. Last August, Gossip Cop called the publication out for a grossly insensitive and inaccurate story about Aniston and her deceased mom’s ashes. But as much as the unscrupulous outlet continues to try to capitalize on this topic, it still knows nothing about it.
In fact, Aniston’s rep exclusively tells Gossip Cop that this story about the star leaning on Pitt to help her through her grief is “total B.S.” Aniston doesn’t “need Brad more than ever.” But In Touch definitely needs to stop practicing yellow journalism.
