Jennifer Aniston Reuniting With John Mayer After Hearing His Song About Her?

Lacking in any actual news, OK! continues to stir the pot in Jennifer Aniston’s love life.

After claiming she and Justin Theroux were fighting over his ex, Heidi Bivens (not true) — and reporting that the couple had “separate living areas” in their Bel Air home (ludicrous) — the tabloid now says Aniston may leave Theroux for John Mayer.

Seriously.

The mag reports that, as Theroux supposedly continues to carry on with Bivens, Aniston has gotten “back in touch with her former lover… and pals are speculating that the two may be close to rekindling their rock ‘n’ roll romance.”

Even though Aniston and Mayer split three years ago, and she is now living with her new boyfriend, OK! claims Mayer’s new song “Shadow Days,” which a tabloid claims is about Aniston, has made her rethink things.

According to a so-called “pal” of Aniston, “When Jen heard he’d written a song about their breakup, she immediately downloaded it and listened – and the tears were rolling down her face.”

“Jen has a lot of wonderful memories from her days with John, and they all came flooding back,” says the friend adding that she allegedly texted him that “the words in the song are so beautiful.”

Mayer, who this purported “insider” claims “has never really gotten over her,” supposedly “texted her back,” and now they’re “sending each other a lot of flirty texts.”

The tab goes on to report that Aniston is now “desperate to see John again,” and “realizes a piece of her heart still belongs to him.”

Actually, it’s OK! that’s desperate — for any hint of drama in Aniston’s love life.

Unfortunately for the mag, Aniston and Theroux remain happily together.

She’s not dumping him because someone she dated three years ago is rumored to have written a song about her.

Regardless, a source close to Aniston calls the mag’s story “laughable.”

    If John is getting back with her I would never buy another album of his again. All this second rate actress did was drag him down. I thought this new album was a new start for him. I found his relationship with Aniston tiresome and it really turned me off of him and his music. I hope this is not true. I was really hoping John would turn over a new leaf and start over. Prove to the world that he is not what the press has made him out to be. Getting back with her would only prove that everything the press said about him is true.

    Oh, John! Your fans were having such high hopes for you. I really hope this story just one of “Team Aniston’s” fabrications to generate cheap publicity for this extremely sad actress. I really thought that the release of Born and Raised was going to be a new start for John Mayer and that he was going to turn over a new leaf. If this is true it just says to the fans he’s going back to his old ways and his bad behavior. Fans have stuck by him despite all this bad publicity but I don’t think they will stick by him if it’s just going to be repeated. Seriously John, move on you are way too good for her.

    Really John Mayer? Are we going back to this again? I agree with Lindsay. I thought this new album was John turning over a new leaf. This story just indicates he is going back to his old ways so I hope it is just a rumor generated by Jennifer Aniston’s people to give her publicity again. What happened to the John Mayer who is an artist and a great musician? All this girl did was generate a lot of the publicity that made him look bad. Why on earth would he entertain the thoughts of getting back with her. We thought he was a smart guy. Be very careful with your choices John. Your fans stuck by you when you were being dragged through the mud by the press and when you made poor choices in the things you said in interviews. We over looked and forgave a lot of that stupidity because we believed that you were being played by the press and things you said were taken out of context and made to be something you did not mean. But now it seems like you are walking right back into this nonsense. Fans will forgive once, but if you go right back to acting the way you did before I don’t know that we would be willing to forgive again.

    I agree with Lindsay. I miss the John Mayer who was a true artist and musician. I really hate the media hungry John Mayer and hope this story about him getting back together with Jennifer Aniston is not true. That whole press thing with her was really sickening and really turned me off of John Mayer. I think he would be a fool to get back together with her. This incredibly untalented actress and her publicity team had a field day with him when he dumped her and decided to answer some questions reporter on the street were asking. John really needs to wake up. The more her publicity team made him out to be the bad guy the more positive press this witch got. Does he really want to go back to that again????? Cause I got news for him he revisits that his career is as good as over. He needs to heal his voice and get back to his music and forget these ridiculous women he has chosen to date.

    In reference to Guest’s comment – Along Came Polly and Horrible Bosses were terrible movies. Friends was a mediocre comedy at best, but it’s popularity was because of the whole ensemble as a cast not soley because of her. And with out this cheap, tacky stories that her publicity team drums up – let’s face it – nobody would care about her and she wouldn’t be in the limelight at all.

Jennifer you really are a sad, sad creature. John Mayer should not take your calls or texts. Better yet, he should just change his number all together so you can’t contact him anymore. If this story is true all I can say is John Mayer you are the stupidest man alive. This woman and her publicity team did everything in their power to make you out to be a villain to the world and you would take this woman back or even consider dating her again?     If this is true then John should just kiss his career goodbye. Fans are sick of the media frenzy and poparazzi hoopla that plagued John for the past couple of years. If this story is false then Jennifer Aniston and her publicist should be publicly flogged for generating cheap, gossipy publicity for her at John’s expense.     Exactly right. She only receives recognition off of her fellow actor/esses talents. She has a huge PR person that always gets called out for pushing false stories to promote his clienteles agendas, though they denounce it. Angie has never had a PR person and said she doesn’t want one. The producers look for her, unlike Jen that has begged her boyfriend and Ben Stiller (her friend) to be in a movie of theirs. I guarantee Jens next move will be a Ben Stiller movie.

    I guess John Mayer’s press conference on the sidewalk in the village was not so offending as she claimed it was. Hmm…let’s see. Last week her story was that she was not attending an awards ceremony in honor of her because she was “humiliated” by John’s song. Now all of a sudden she is texting him wanting to get back with him. Seems to me Jennifer changes her story to what ever she thinks will give her more publicity. I think she is a phoney and full of it and full of herself. John Mayer, if you are stupid enough to let this woman and her publicity team play you again then you deserve not to have a career.

    Everyone has accused John Mayer of being a media hound but actually I think it’s Jennifer Aniston who is the needy media hound. I think poor John got lumped into it by dating her.
