Jennifer Aniston, Emma Roberts Feud Over ‘We’re The Millers’ Sequel?
The two actresses co-starred together in the 2013 comedy, which was one of the biggest sleeper hits of the year, grossing nearly $270 million worldwide. Naturally, a sequel is in development, but the National Enquirer is now falsely claiming Aniston is holding up the production. A so-called “source” tells the magazine Roberts is “furious” because her co-star supposedly can’t decide on a director for the sequel, adding, “Emma estimates she’ll lose at least $10 million if this movie doesn’t happen, and she desperately needs another big hit.”
But Gossip Cop checked in with a rep for Aniston, who exclusively tells us the tabloid’s claim is “nonsense.” We’re told the script for the follow-up is still being written, and the actress has nothing to do with any productions delays. Additionally, Aniston and Roberts get along well, and this is simply a non-story.
Of course, we’re not surprised the magazine would concoct a fake fight between the two actresses. Gossip Cop previously called out the Enquirer for falsely alleging Aniston and Roberts were in a feud back when We’re the Millers was initially released. There was no truth to the claim then, and it’s no more accurate now.
