Jennifer Aniston Has NOT Addressed Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie Divorce, Despite Report
As Gossip Cop reported, Pitt is under investigation for child abuse by the Department of Child and Family Services following an incident on a private jet last week during which he and Jolie were having an argument. When their 15-year-old son, Maddox, tried to intervene by getting in between the bickering couple, Pitt put his hands on the boy. However, the actor’s camp insists he never struck or physically abused his son, and the allegations otherwise are completely overblown.
HollywoodLife has now arbitrarily dragged Aniston into the situation by falsely claiming she’s weighed in on the abuse accusations. “Jen doesn’t believe for a second that Brad is abusive to those kids,” a so-called “insider” tells the site. The webloid’s dubious source further claims “it breaks her heart to hear those kinds of accusations being thrown around,” and “she knows he’s not capable of doing anything so horrible.” But Gossip Cop checked in with a reliable source close to Aniston, who exclusively assures us she hasn’t offered an opinion about a situation that doesn’t concern her. We’re told the actress hasn’t commented about Pitt and Jolie’s divorce at all, and the site’s claim is simply “false.”
If HollywoodLies had actual sources, it wouldn’t have repeatedly reported in 2011, 2013, 2014, and a couple of times this past June that Aniston was pregnant. Among the site’s reporting styles are reprinting false reports from other equally disreputable outlets or manufacturing exclusives. The latest concocted piece about Aniston and her private remarks about the Pitt and Jolie divorce falls into the second category.
On Thursday, Gossip Cop busted the webloid for fabricating an untrue story about how Jolie is getting help from Gwen Stefani in her divorce. And on Wednesday, we exposed the often discredited site for falsely claiming Pitt was getting support from George Clooney. But as we noted, Clooney was completely unaware of the Brangelina split when HollywoodLife published its tale, and this latest one involving Aniston is equally fictitious.
