Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox NOT Doing New TV Show Together, Despite Report
Jennifer Aniston and Courteney Cox are not “looking to launch a new TV project” together, despite a new tabloid report. Gossip Cop can exclusively correct this fabricated claim. We’re told it’s “made up.”
OK! exclaims on the cover of its latest issue that Cox and Aniston have a “secret new show.” And inside the tabloid, a so-called “pal” of both actresses alleges, “They want to spend more time together, and the best way to do that is to work together.” The magazine then lists some of the shows Cox has done on TV, including “Cougar Town,” and quotes Aniston as saying television is “where the quality is.”
The publication’s questionable “insider” further contends Aniston and Cox are “wary of doing a full-on comedy, where they might be associated with their ‘Friends’ personas.” “They want something a little darker but with comedic elements,” claims the same seemingly ill-informed or concocted source, who adds, “They’re giddy at the prospect of costarring again.”
Gossip Cop suspects the “pal” who told the tabloid this information is the same person who convinced the outlet to publish the cover story last March that wrongly claimed Aniston adopted two girls. Or maybe it was the “insider” the magazine relied upon for its cover that falsely blared Aniston was pregnant with a baby girl. Otherwise, OK! sure has a lot of bad sources.
Like those stories and many more, the current article about Aniston and Cox teaming up for a “new show” is also entirely untrue. A rep for Aniston exclusively assures Gossip Cop the tabloid’s report is 100 percent “made up.”
