Jennifer Aniston Told Chelsea Handler To Stop Posting Nude Selfies?
Jennifer Aniston did not tell Chelsea Handler to stop posting nude photos of herself online, despite a ridiculous new report that claims Aniston’s concern that Handler’s “cheapening herself with sleazy selfies” will affect the former “Friends” star’s career. Gossip Cop can bust this nonsense, which originated in the National Enquirer, an outlet with a long history of publishing false stories about Aniston and her friends.
According to the supermarket tabloid, Aniston, hoping to earn her first Oscar nomination for her role in Cake, is “terrified” Handler’s naked selfies “will reflect badly on her.” A so-called “friend” of the two women is quoted in the magazine as saying, Aniston really wanted to “write a big screen comedy” with Handler, but the former talk show host’s “recent actions have made her tarnished goods.” The “insider” goes on to allege that there’s a “smell of desperation” surrounding Handler, and that’s not something Aniston wants in her professional or personal life. As a result, says the Enquirer, Aniston wants to distance herself from the comedian.
Of course, the story is dead wrong. And hilariously, just one day before the ridiculous report came out, Handler was invited by Aniston to a special luncheon honoring her film Cake. Photos from the event, held at Arianna Huffington’s home in Los Angeles, show the two friends posing together (see above right) and Aniston and Handler raising their glasses during a toast (see below).
Handler has always been candid about how she likes to be naked, whether it was for skits for “Chelsea Lately” or for funny social media posts. Aniston didn’t have a problem with it then, and she doesn’t have a problem with it now. Regardless, multiple sources tell Gossip Cop that this latest tale from the Enquirer is completely false.
