Jennifer Aniston Did NOT “Rub Baby Bump” At ‘Office Christmas Party’ Premiere
Jennifer Aniston did NOT “rub” a supposed “baby bump” at the Office Christmas Party premiere, despite a ridiculous report. Gossip Cop can debunk the story.
The claim comes from Celeb Dirty Laundry, which is running the following headline: “Jennifer Aniston Fuels Pregnancy Reports, Rubs Alleged Baby Bump During ‘Office Christmas Party’ Red Carpet Event.” It’s said in the accompanying article, “Jennifer Aniston is fueling pregnancy buzz once again. This time, the Hollywood actress was spotted rubbing and patting her belly during the premiere of her latest movie, ‘Office Christmas Party.’”
“Eyewitnesses couldn’t help but notice that Jennifer kept her hand rested on her stomach while posing for photographers,” claims the site, which further alleges, “Sources at the premiere say that Jennifer nervously patted her tummy throughout the entire night.”
The webloid goes on to acknowledge Aniston previously “made it clear that she is so sick of the pregnancy reports that she even wrote an angry post earlier this year about being shamed for being a childless woman.” Still, CDL contends, “Insiders say one thing is for certain: her maternal gestures are the reason why the pregnancy talk simply won’t go away.”
No, the reason “pregnancy talk simply won’t go away” is because outlets like this continually make unfounded assumptions and try to ascribe meaning to meaningless things. Aniston didn’t “rub” any such “baby bump,” nor did Celeb Dirty Laundry even post photos to back up its assertions. The actress merely stood and posed for pictures (see above), which means it’s the bad blog “fuel[ing] pregnancy reports,” NOT Aniston.
