Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt NOT “Together” Last Night… In Same Room For Good Cause

Truth rating: 3

(HollywoodLife.com)

For only the second (confirmed) time since their 2005 split, Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt were in the same place last night. But a lot of outlets, including HollywoodLife, have made it out to be far more than it is.

“Brad Pitt & Jennifer Aniston Were Together Last Night — Without Angelina Jolie!” screams the site’s headline, which, while true, is more than a little misleading considering the context.

Pitt and Aniston were not sneaking out on the town behind Jolie’s back. The ex-spouses were among the dozens of A-List stars on hand in Los Angeles to help George Clooney‘s Hope For Haiti Now telethon. Jolie happened to be in New York during last night’s event.

True, until last night, the 2009 Academy Awards marked the last time Aniston and Pitt were known to be in the same room since their divorce five years ago.

But Pitt and Aniston were not “together” at Hope For Haiti Now, and their shared presence can’t really be considered “the point” of a story about stars banding together to help raise funds during a tragic time.

If you haven’t yet (and even if you have), please call 1-877-99-HAITI or text “GIVE” to 50555 to support the vital relief efforts on the earthquake-ravaged island.

Waits for the accusations that it is it is JA’s publicist fault and he is paying Hollywood Life. LOL. JA haters already think he is paying Just Jared.

I don’t think, after your read the posts, anyone has said they were “together”, but it’s a crying shame that the emphasis from certain rags on this wonderful telethon and the Haiti relief effort in general is reduced to this kind of CRAP. People is just as bad as Us Weekly with their stupid headline about Brad and Jen at the telethon. It’s about Haiti, idiots.

    RANT OVER.
