Jay Z is NOT “furious” over the lyrics on Beyonce’s Lemonade album, despite a report from a perennially wrong webloid. Gossip Cop can debunk the story.

RadarOnline claims “Lemonade left a seriously sour taste in her estranged hubby Jay Z‘s already shattered reputation,” and now “he’s had enough.” Of course, the rapper and his wife aren’t “estranged,” but the site keeps on its false premise by referring to them as a “fractured” couple. A so-called “source” describes Jay Z as “absolutely miserable” and “not on board with Beyonce’s new album” because of the implication he cheated on her.

“He hates the direction that her music is taking. Jay Z honestly feels like he is the reason that Beyonce has become so famous,” alleges the supposed snitch. “The tables have turned in their marriage and her recent success is just driving them further apart.”

RadarOnline takes the approach that Jay Z was somehow blindsided by the lyrical content of Lemonade, as if he wasn’t aware of Beyonce’s new music prior to its premiere last weekend. That notion is utterly ridiculous, particularly since the album was initially only available through the mogul’s Tidal venture. The outlet also ignores the fact that it hasn’t actually been confirmed that the record’s tale of betrayal (and redemption) is autobiographical.

What’s more, though, is that this report proclaiming to have insight on Jay Z’s reaction is coming from the same outlet that said Beyonce was “close to five months pregnant” in January. That’s a particularly egregious example of how bad the site’s “sources” are, but there’s plenty more that Gossip Cop has busted over the last few months. Jay Z knew full well what was coming with Lemonade, and far from being “furious” with Beyonce for it, he’s actually quite supportive.
