Jay-Z: Blue Ivy Will Be “The Worst, Spoiled Little Kid Ever”

Jay-Z has opened up for the first time about his and Beyonce’s four-month old baby, Blue Ivy Carter.

The rapper appeared on “Oprah’s Master Class: Special Addition” on Sunday, telling Winfrey he’ll try to keep his already-famous daughter grounded by applying “things I learned from my mom and things I’ve learned from raising my nephews.”

But he acknowledges that keeping a child who wore Marc Jacobs as an infant humble will be a quite a feat.

He added jokingly, “Then at the end of the day, I just know I’ll probably have the worst, spoiled little kid ever.”

Despite being mega-rich and successful, Jay-Z admitted he has the same worries as any parent.

The “Money Ain’t a Thing” singer shared, “Everyone imagines they’ll be a great dad — until their [kids are] teenagers saying, ‘Get away from me, Dad. You’re embarrassing me!’”

    Must people be so hateful? Can’t we just be happy for them and their beautiful new addition?? Like seriously, this is a BABY, and innocent child that can’t even defend herself. The amount of hatred directed towards her is staggering and disgusting. It’s not her fault her parents are ridiculously wealthy. It’s not her fault she’s never gonna want or need for anything. However her parents decide to raise her is NOT her fault. It’s not like she woke up one day and said “Hey! I think I’ll be Jay-Z and Beyonce’s kid!” Maybe she will grow up to be a brat. Who knows?? But for now, can’t we just let her be??

    Jeez, most of you people are the very definition of ‘haters’. She’s a baby – you have no idea who she will turn out be. Talking about keeping her ‘off the pole’? Disgusting.

    He’s a proud papa and why shouldn’t he be? I’m pretty damn sure that if most parents had even a tiny bit of the money Beyonce and Jay-Z have, they would spoilt their kids like crazy too. I know I would. Spoiling your children doesn’t necessarily mean they will always turn out awful – give this baby a chance for goodness sake.

    Nah. I’ll be happy for that mother who is able to take her newborn home while watching her baby survive in an incubator for weeks or months. I’ll be happy for a child who grew up in an abusive broken home and overcame the odds. I’ll be happy for that veteran who lost his legs from a roadside bomb, received prosthetics, and proves to himself and his country that wounds will not stop him from living but live life to the fullest which is a big FU in the face of terrorism. I will be happy for that abused pet that is left for dead only to be adopted by someone with a warm heart and loving home. I will be happy for that firefighter that made it out of a burning building alive. I will not give two turds for the happiness that is “Jay-Z” and Beyonce. And when “Blue Ivy” grows up and starts to act like Lohan and Hilton, you’ll be eating your words.

    I guess he’s a lot more proud of Blue Ivy than he is of his older son because you never hear anything about him. I guess his first born didn’t feel like “magic”. Not everyone who is worth a fortune throws money at their children. Parents like The Smiths, Jay-Z & Beyonce should learn a thing or two from Bill Gates. He’s teaching his kids how to earn an honest living for themselves and once Gates dies, they’re not seeing a dime of his money. I’ll bet a years paycheck Gates kids will grow up to be educated, humble, and not the least bit shallow and superficial.

    You are coming across as extremely bitter. This is a 4 month old baby that you’re talking about.

    As for any other kids Jay-Z might have, that’s got nothing to do with this story.

    As long as there is no abuse going on, parents can raise their children in any way they please – why that causes you to spew so much vitriol, I have no idea.

    Bill Gates, just like any other caring parent, has the right to keep his money to himself – so why can’t a parent choose to go the other way and spoil their child?

    Honestly, you need to calm your anger down. Let’s face it, the parents in this story couldn’t give a flying f*ck what you think – your bitterness makes no difference to them and you aren’t going to change a thing. So all it does it make you look petty and quite frankly, ridiculous for having all that hate for a baby.

    I’m not hating on the baby I’m hating on the parenting. The end result of spoiling a child is plastered all over these gossip sights. Karsashians, Hiltons, Lohans, Cyrus, Geldof…the list goes on. She’ll never learn the value of a dollar and she’ll never struggle to earn that record deal because it will be handed to her on a velvet pillow. And if she can’t sing? No problem. Auto-tune will fix everything.
    These two think this child is the second coming. And if you think this article has nothing to do with Jay-z’s son I’m sure his son would feel differently since he seems to be swept under the rug. How vain and self absorbed do you have to be to want to copyright the name of your kid? It is like these people are trying hard to cultivate eccentricities to make up for the fact that they are completely devoid of a personality. They think having money sort of sets them apart from the rest of human kind in terms of just being worthier people. You may not understand why I weep for the decline of good entertainment because untalented Hollywood spawn are taking over the entertainment industry as much as I don’t understand why you would defend two attention whores that would step over you if you were lying in a gutter dying.

    Eyeroll, you need to relax. You say that you will be happy for a kid who overcame the odds, then be happy for who Jay-Z became. A self-made man who now has the opportunity to provide the best life possible for his daughter. You have no idea how this child will turn out. She may be spoiled, but then again she may be a good person. Then you may be eating your own words yourself.
