Jason Sudeikis, Olivia Wilde NOT Fighting Over Money, Despite Report
Jason Sudeikis and Olivia Wilde are NOT fighting over money, despite a ridiculous tabloid report. Gossip Cop can exclusively debunk this claim. We’re told it’s not true.
According to OK!, the actress was upset about her fiancé starring in the off-Broadway production of Dead Poets Society because his salary was much less than what he’d make doing a big-screen studio comedy. A so-called “source” also tells the magazine Wilde is now concerned about Sudeikis being able to support her and their two young kids because he only wants to take on serious roles in low-budget indies.
“Jason’s blockbuster comedies are huge for them financially,” says the outlet’s questionable insider. “Olivia had scaled back on work to raise their kids, but if Jason starts taking pay cuts as well, she won’t have that luxury anymore. She’s pretty upset.” But Gossip Cop checked in with a rep for Wilde, who exclusively assures us they’re not having any monetary issues, nor are they arguing over his career choices. We’re told the claim otherwise is “completely inaccurate.”
Unfortunately, we’re not surprised by the tabloid’s bogus report. Gossip Cop previously corrected OK!’s sister publication, Star, for falsely claiming Sudeikis was jealous of Wilde’s friendship with Alexander Skarsgard. There was no truth to that story, and the same goes for this latest one.
