Jason Davis was arrested last night for possession of a controlled substance.

The “Celebrity Rehab” alum was busted at 10:30 p.m. PST in Newport Beach, California, at the home he shares with “Hills” star and fellow celebrity rehabber Jason Wahler.

Gossip Cop has learned that the substance was heroin.

He’s now being held on $20,000 bail.

The arrest came one day after the “Celeb Rehab” reunion show.

A source tells Gossip Cop a family member tipped the police, and we’re told the reason they did is “because he’s so ill.”

The scion of oil magnate Marvin Davis has had a sad history with the drug.

    Wow, what a surprise?! This egotistical, lazy, media junkie has never done an honest thing in his short life. I watched Celebrity Rehab when he said he surrendered and then the live special when he said he had surrendered for that moment only. What a cheeseball! This wonderful ‘catch’ tried to get Patti to find him a date on the Millionaire show and that was a bust. I honestly believe he is the poster child for someone not to waste your time on. So far I haven’t seen any redeeming values. Bail at $20,000? He spends more than that on dinner and drugs. He’s had major help and has done nothing with it. Maybe he needs the Robert Downey Jr. drug treatment plan.
