“Flawless” Jason Brock Shocks Judges, Gets Standing Ovation on The X Factor

Jason Brock may have been the most pleasant surprise of “The X Factor” season so far.
The contestant walked out on stage during Thursday’s episode brimming with confidence and enthusiasm that seemed to border on cockiness and delusion.
Even the judges admitted to bracing themselves for “the worst.”
Instead, Brock proved them wrong with an amazing rendition of “New York State of Mind,” prompting a standing ovation from L.A. Reid, Britney Spears and Demi Lovato.
“You are completely flawless,” Reid told him, adding, “Every song writer wants a guy like you to sing their songs.”
Spears called Brock magnificent, while Lovato confessed that the performance made her want to “fall in love” with him!
She told Brock, “You sparkle and you ooze your joy when you’re singing.”
And the notoriously hard-to-please Simon Cowell was impressed as well.
“I loved the audition,” he told Brock.
