Jason Aldean & Brittany Kerr NOT Eloping To Avoid “Online Backlash,” Despite Claim
Jason Aldean and his fiancée Brittany Kerr are NOT eloping, despite a new tabloid report. Gossip Cop can exclusively debunk this rumor, which started with an article in Life & Style claiming the newly engaged couple has plans to run off and get married without any fanfare because of their online haters.
A so-called “insider” tells the tabloid that Aldean and Kerr are “considering smaller options” for their wedding because whenever they share anything about their relationship on social media they get slammed with a ton of “online backlash.” The magazine’s “source” adds that Kerr is still “hurt” by the negative reaction on the web to their romance, especially the virulent messages when they announced their engagement in September.
Aldean and Kerr were famously caught kissing back in 2012 while he was still married to his high school sweetheart Jessica Ussery, with whom he has two daughters. The country singer and his ex-wife divorced last year, and he and Kerr went public with their love for one another.
Regardless, the couple is NOT “planning to elope” because some online haters have been particularly vocal about their displeasure with how the relationship began between Aldean and the “American Idol” singer. Aldean’s rep tells Gossip Cop exclusively that this latest report from In Touch is 100 percent “not true.”
