Janice Dickinson Collapses On “Celebrity Big Brother” After Bee Sting (VIDEO)
Janice Dickinson collapsed and “nearly died” on Tuesday after being stung by a bee, with the footage airing on “Celebrity Big Brother.” If so inclined, see video below.
The disturbing moment was captured by the reality competition’s cameras and later aired on the U.K.’s Channel 5. Dickinson was filmed sitting in the show’s confessional after getting stung. With her hand turning purple and her breathing labored, Dickinson was heard begging producers for an EpiPen to treat her allergic reaction.
The sting, which can be deadly for some people, seemed to trigger a seizure, and Dickinson collapsed, falling off her chair. At that point, the former supermodel was taken to the hospital. While reps for the popular series say Dickinson was treated and released, TMZ sources allege the situation was far more serious than producers are letting on.
The site claims it “was touch and go whether she’d survive,” and quotes one source as saying Dickinson “almost died.” But while some viewers have complained about the footage being broadcast given the gravity of the situation, others have pointed to Dickinson’s return to the “Big Brother” house as an indication that she’s really okay. The star’s stint on the show began just a few days ago.
As Gossip Cop has reported, Dickinson is competing against Farrah Abraham, Daniel Baldwin, Jenna Jameson and a number of U.K. personalities. Tila Tequila was thrown out of the competition last week after producers learned of pro-Nazi comments she had made a few years ago. If so inclined, the footage “Celebrity Big Brother” aired of Dickinson’s medical incident can be seen below.
