Janice Dickinson: I Did NOT Lie About Bill Cosby Rape! (VIDEO)
As Gossip Cop reported, Dickinson made her sexual assault allegations earlier this week, accusing Cosby of luring her to his Lake Tahoe hotel room in 1982 where he supposedly drugged and raped her. Cosby’s attorney blasted Dickinson in a statement, saying she fabricated the story and there was “documentary proof” to prove it.
But on Wednesday’s “Entertainment Tonight,” Dickinson said, “It is not a lie.” The former “America’s Next Top Model” judge went on, “It is my right as a woman. I have to speak up. You have to be able to go in and just be brave and do it for all the women that can’t come forward.” She added, “The loss of innocence that I suffered and that these women suffered is why I’m sitting here today. And I don’t care about what Cosby or networks or anybody says, you will hear me.”
Cosby’s lawyer has pointed out some contradictions in the stories she’s given over the years, to which Dickinson now said, “I was humiliated, I was ashamed, and also back then I wasn’t sober.” She further pointed out, “I didn’t go to the police the next day because I didn’t have the courage or the strength.”
The end of the segment, which also featured another Cosby accuser, showed Dickinson breaking down and sobbing in the arms of her fiancé when the interview was over. At other points, she was defiant and angry, dropping curse words that had to be bleeped out. Check out the new video with Dickinson below. What do you think of her comments?
