WATCH: Janice Dickinson Calls Bill Cosby A “Monster,” Breaks Down On CNN
Janice Dickinson angrily and emotionally opened up about her rape allegations against Bill Cosby in a new interview that aired Monday night on “CNN.” As Gossip Cop has reported, Dickinson claims Cosby drugged and raped her in a Tahoe hotel room back in 1982, one of more than a dozen sexual assault accusations the comedy legend has been hit with. Check out the “CNN” videos below.
In the interview, Dickinson was asked why she didn’t come forward years ago, and the one-time supermodel expressed regret that she didn’t go to the police, explaining that she felt “humiliated” and “disgusted.” “Cosby was a very powerful man, and probably still is,” she said. “I trusted this man, and I stuffed it. I compartmentalized, because I was embarrassed.”
Dickinson recounted the night in question, explaining how she took Polaroids of the comedian in his robe, and said, “The last thing I remember is I blacked out, and Cosby mounting me, like the monster that he was.” The former “America’s Next Top Model” judge said the statement from Cosby’s lawyer refuting her claims amounted to “slander,” and offered to take a lie detector test. “I can back this up one hundred percent, on the hands of my children’s heads that I’m not lying,” she said.
She went on, “Bill Cosby, you know the truth. Bill Cosby, you were there. Bill Cosby — put a lie detector test on Bill Cosby.” And when Dickinson was asked what she wants out of going public, she point-blank said, “I would like Cosby to come out and at least acknowledge that he is a pig, that he is a monster, and that he raped me.” As the interview wound down, Dickinson broke down in tears, crying that she didn’t know how to deal with the situation.
