Janet Jackson Baby Born, Gives Birth To Boy Named Eissa
Janet Jackson and Wissam Al Mana are officially parents! On Tuesday, the 50-year-old singer gave birth to her first child, a boy named Eissa. “Janet had a stress free healthy delivery and is resting comfortably,” read a statement that was furnished to Gossip Cop from Jackson’s rep.
As Gossip Cop reported, it was revealed Jackson was expecting her first child with husband Al Mana in May. She broke the news during her Unbreakable World Tour, announcing that there would be a sudden change to her hectic schedule, hinting that she was “working on expanding her family.” OK! falsely reported, however, that Jackson was postponing her tour due to a “cancerous tumor,” and making up a “fake pregnancy” to hide her alleged illness. Gossip Cop exclusively debunked that tall tale.
Jackson returned to the limelight in a big way in the past couple of years. The singer received the Ultimate Icon: Dance Visual Award at the BET Awards in June, and in October 2015, she released Unbreakable, her first album in seven years. The arrival of Jackson’s first baby marks a great way to kick off 2017. Her tour is due to continue later this year, and in the meantime, Jackson will no doubt be enjoying her time as a new mother.
Gossip Cop congratulates the couple on the birth of their son Eissa, and wishes the entire family many years of health and happiness.
