Janel Parrish And Val Chmerkovskiy Get Perfect Score For Romeo & Juliet Dance On Dancing With The Stars – WATCH VIDEO!
Janel Parrish and her partner Val Chmerkovskiy earned a perfect score of 40 out of 40 when they took on the roles of Romeo and Juliet on Monday’s “Dancing With the Stars.” Their romantic contemporary routine was flawless.
The pair played the star-crossed lovers for the show’s “Dynamic Duos Night” theme, dancing to the song “Everybody’s Free (To Feel Good)” from the movie Romeo + Juliet. “Janel, Janel where for out thou, Janel,” Chmerkovskiy joked during practice. But the dance pro soon got serious. “This dance is not necessarily about Janel and I,” he explained. “It is about the theme of love.” And Parrish and Chmerkovskiy had no problem channeling raw emotion and wowing the judges during their dance, which ended with the “Pretty Little Liars” star giving her partner a kiss.
Carrie Ann Inaba told the pair, “This is the epitomy of what dance is about.” Meanwhile, Julianne Hough exclaimed that their performance was utterly “breathtaking.” Len Goodman said to Parrish, “I knew you were a good dancer, but tonight you showed me were a great dancer.” And Bruno Tonioli called the dance “extremely ambitious, yet gorgeous and glorious in every possible way.” The judges were so impressed they gave Parrish and Chmerkovskiy a perfect 40 out of 40!
