Jana Kramer Dances Strong Freestyle On ‘Dancing With The Stars’ Finals (VIDEO)
Jana Kramer and her partner Gleb Savchenko danced a strong freestyle routine on Monday’s “Dancing With The Stars” finals. They performed to Sia’s “Unstoppable.” Watch the video below.
Earlier in the show, the country singer danced a tango to Zedd’s “Stay The Night” for her redemption routine. Julianne Hough admitted, however, “I didn’t feel the same spark that I was hoping for.” And Carrie Ann Inaba said it was “beautiful” and thought she “improved,” but also saw Kramer’s errors. For their tango, they received 35 out of 40 points.
While the redemption dance fell a bit short, Kramer’s freestyle was a better way to end the first night of the two-night “Dancing With The Stars” finale. As Gossip Cop noted, despite scoring the season’s first 40 out of 40, Kramer ended up almost being eliminated from the dance competition show on a number of occasions. And while there were three weeks in a row the singer was almost voted off, toward the end of the season she seemed to be less and less in jeopardy of being sent home early.
For her freestyle dance, Len Goodman expressed, “What a beautiful dance and a wonderful performance.” Hough thought, “You took a risk… and it worked.” Bruno Tonioli enjoyed how it was an “emotional rollercoaster.” And Inaba felt the singer should feel “proud of yourself.” As a result, Kramer and Savchenko received a total of 36 out of 40 points.
