Jamie Lee Curtis joined James Corden in defending Kim Kardashian on Tuesday’s “Late Late Show.” Watch below.

As Gossip Cop has reported, Kardashian was held up at gunpoint and brutally robbed in Paris early Monday. As the news broke online, many on social media were quick to make jokes about the scary situation. But most celebrities reacted to Kardashian’s robbery quite seriously, including Corden.

As we noted, the late-night host tweeted, “People making jokes about @KimKardashian tonight would do well to remember that she’s a mother, a daughter, a wife, a friend. Be nice or shut up.” And, as previously reported, Curtis also tweeted, “Relieved @KimKardashian was unharmed. Public people deserve private, safe lives. A horrific moment 4 her family.”

So, when the two stars came together on the “Late Late Show,” they ended up talking about Kardashian’s frightening incident and the disturbing public response it has received. Curtis brought up the topic, saying she wanted to tell Corden why she’s a “big fan” of his. She explained, “This very day, something really scary happened to a pubic person, and you were the first person to stand up and tell the Twitter souls that they should shut the f*ck up and leave this poor woman alone and let her recover.”

“You said it, and I am impressed by you,” Curtis told the British personality. She went on, “It’s horrible! It’s a mother of two small children. My god, these people just need to have their devices put somewhere!” Corden added, “Regardless of whatever you think of someone, it’s someone being held at gunpoint in a room. Just don’t say anything.”

As Gossip Cop reported, other late night hosts joked about Kardashian’s robbery on their own shows. Check out the video of Corden and Curtis below.
