James Hinchcliffe Does Amazing “Showstoppers” Routine On ‘Dancing With The Stars’ (VIDEO)
James Hinchcliffe and his new partner Jenna Johnson again killed on Monday’s “Dancing With The Stars.” The two danced an amazing jazz routine to “A Brand New Day” from the Broadway musical “The Wiz” as part of “Showstoppers” night. Watch the video below.
Last week, Hinchcliffe scored a perfect 30 out of 30 points for his Viennese waltz to Grace’s “You Don’t Own Me” on Halloween. The racecar driver, widely considered to be a favorite to win this season’s “Dancing With The Stars,” performed with Johnson because his original partner Sharna Burgess injured her knee. Of their routine, Julianne Hough said, “You are the real deal because you can dance with any partner.” Bruno Tonioli called their dance “amazing.” And Carrie Ann Inaba exclaimed, “It was beyond incredible.”
Hinchcliffe again proved his dancing prowess. Tonioli said, “That was fantastic.” Hough once more felt, “You should be on Broadway.” Inaba thought he made a tiny flaw, but overall she liked his performance. And guest judge Idina Menzel expressed, “I would share the stage with you anytime. That was amazing.” For their effort, Hinchcliffe and Johnson received 36 out of a total of 40 points.
