James Hinchcliffe Scores Big During ‘Dancing With The Stars’ Finals (VIDEO)
James Hinchcliffe and Sharna Burgess scored big during Monday’s “Dancing With The Stars” finals. For the redemption style dance, the two performed a foxtrot to Harry Connick Jr.’s “It Had To be You.” Watch the video below.
Going into the finals, Hinchcliffe had the second highest score behind Laurie Hernandez. The race car driver received a near perfect 29 out of 30 points for his Argentine tango with Burgess. While Bruno Tonioli commended Hinchcliffe’s “skill,” Carrie Ann Inaba called his routine “stellar.” And Julianne Hough called his tango “absolutely sensational.”
He then came back later in the show for a trio with Burgess and Jenna Johnson, which resulted in Hinchcliffe getting a perfect score. Inaba felt his jive with the two other dancers was executed “perfectly.” And Tonioli complimented Hinchcliffe for his ability to go “from one (dancer) to the other seamlessly.”
This time around, Len Goodman expressed it was “fantastic.” Tonioli said, “It was top quality.” Inaba offered, “Your footwork is so smooth… You do it so right.” “You are always the perfect package,” added Hough. For their reemption style foxtrot, Hinchcliffe and Burgess received 37 out of 40 points. Watch the video below of James Hinchcliffe and Sharna Burgess’s finals routine on “Dancing With The Stars.”
