James Franco to Publish First Novel

James Franco, who has been an actor, graduate student, Oscars host, and short story writer, is now going to publish his first novel.

Rather than releasing the book via one of the big publishing houses, Franco instead sold his novel, “Actors Anonymous,” to Amazon Publishing.

The novel is reportedly a fictionalized version of Franco’s life as an actor and possibly his experiences as a graduate student.

Last June, Franco released the book of short stories titled “Palo Alto” to lukewarm reviews.
