Jake Gyllenhaal NOT Rude On Movie Set, Despite Report
Jake Gyllenhaal was NOT acting “rude” on the set of his upcoming movie, Wildlife, despite a bogus tabloid report. Gossip Cop can debunk this claim. We’re told it’s “not true.”
According to Life & Style, the actor had a bad attitude while shooting his new drama in Oklahoma. A so-called “source” tells the magazine, “He was moody and rude. He wouldn’t pose for pics with locals. He was completely standoffish. He lost some major respect in Oklahoma.”
The outlet’s dubious insider goes on to claim that on the last day of filming, Gyllenhaal never said goodbye to his co-workers, “so the crew and some of the actors sang, ‘Ding, dong, the witch is dead.’ It was hilarious.” The questionable source adds, “Working with Jake was a total disappointment.”
Gossip Cop, however, checked in with a trustworthy source close to the production of Wildlife, who exclusively assures us Gyllenhaal got along well with the cast and crew. We’re told there were only good vibes on set, and the tabloid’s claim otherwise is simply “not true.”
Unfortunately, we’re not surprised by the publication’s tall tale, as we’ve repeatedly called out Life & Style for falsely alleging that a celebrity had been difficult at work. We previously busted the magazine for wrongly reporting that Ellen DeGeneres was a “terror” on the set of her talk show. We also debunked the outlet’s bogus story about Mariah Carey being a diva on the set of Will Ferrell and Amy Poehler’s upcoming movie. This latest claim about Gyllenhaal’s supposed rude behavior is equally untrue.
