Does Jake Gyllenhaal have a “new girlfriend”?

According to Perez Hilton, the answer is a resounding yes.

Spotlighting a photo of Gyllenhaal and an unidentified woman in New York City on Friday, the blogger writes, “Donnie Darko is happily embracing the warmth of a new girlfriend these days.”

“The two bundled up together to enjoy the crisp chills in love like,” he adds.

Perez, of course, has no additional information on Gyllenhaal’s alleged “lady-love,” so allow Gossip Cop to clean up his mess.

The woman is NOT the actor’s “new girlfriend.”

A source close to Gyllenhaal tells Gossip Cop that “she’s a long-time friend,” and adds that there’s “nothing romantic there.”

    I like Jake, but I think he’s gay as pink ink. Ever see his “Dreamgirls” sketch on Saturday Night Live? No straight guy could do such a fantastic job! He’s a drag queen hiding deeply in the closet. Notice how his “relationships” last no time at all?

    His role in ‘Brokeback’, his performance on SNL in drag…it’s called ACTING. He’s an Oscar nominated actor for a reason: he’s good at doing his job.
    According to your bigot statements, Dustin Hoffman and Robin Williams are gay also? They must be ’cause their performances IN DRAG in movies like ‘Tootsie’ and ‘Ms. Doubtfire’ were fantastic. They were believable as women – according to you, they must be gay, right?… Think twice before writing stupid comments ’cause they could come and bite you in the ass!
    BTW: Jake was in a 2-3 years relationship with Kirsten Dunst and a 3 years relationship with Reese Witherspoon. Check your facts, Chuck, before posting your uninformed opinions.
