“Jake Gyllenhaal and Jessica Lowndes Are Hooking Up,” reads a headline from X17Online, picking up on a story from Us Weekly.
“The Source Code actor is now hooking up with 90210 beauty Jessica Lowndes,” reports the blog, which adds how they were recently “sharing breakfast at New York’s Greenwich Hotel.”
While Us Weekly downplayed the seriousness of Gyllenhaal and Lowndes, noting he’s been seen with other women and “keeping his romantic options open,” places like X17Online went so far as to say “hooking up.”
WRONG.
A rep for the actor confirms to Gossip Cop that Gyllenhaal is NOT hooking up/dating Lowndes.
