Jake Gyllenhaal Scratches Josh Gad With Giant Fork On “Tonight Show” (VIDEO)
During Gyllenhaal’s segment, Fallon showed a paparazzi photograph of the handsome star scratching his back with a fork at a restaurant. After Gyllenhaal admitted to having an affinity for using forks as back scratchers, Fallon gifted him with an extendable fork that can expand up to two feet long.
Gyllenhaal stuck around for Gad’s segment, and the fork quickly made a reappearance. The two actors previously worked together, playing brothers in 2010’s Love & Other Drugs. Gad reminded the audience of this and noted, “They couldn’t find anyone who looked like Jake Gyllenhaal,” to which Gyllenhaal cracked, “So they hired an Elvis impersonator,” referencing his co-star’s giant sideburns.
As Gad continued his interview with Fallon, Gyllenhaal began scratching his face with the giant fork. “Get off of me! Get off of me!” Gad deadpanned with convincing anger. “What buddy? I’m just combing your mutton chops,” explained Gyllenhaal.
The two good friends will do battle at the box office this weekend as Gyllenhaal’s Southpaw faces off against Gad’s Pixels, staring this Friday. Watch the hilarious video of Gyllenhaal using his extendable fork to disrupt Gad’s “Tonight Show” interview below, and tell us what you think.
