“Bachelor In Paradise” Stars Jade Roper And Tanner Tolbert Get Married, Chris Harrison Officiates TV Wedding
“Bachelor In Paradise” stars Jade Roper and Tanner Tolbert are married!
The couple tied the knot at the St. Regis Resort in Dana Point, California on Sunday with many “Bachelor” and “Bachelorette” faces in attendance. Chris Harrison is believed to have presided over the ceremony, as he has for other “Bachelor Nation” couples. Among the guests were current “Bachelor” Ben Higgins, former “Bachelorettes” Andi Dorfman and Ali Fedotowsky, and former “Bachelors” Chris Soules, Andrew Firestone, and Bob Guinney.
As Gossip Cop reported at the time, Tolbert proposed to Roper on the “Bachelor In Paradise” season two finale, which aired last September. Instead of exchanging roses, Tolbert shocked Roper by dropping down to one knee and offering her an engagement ring. And unlike many of the franchise’s couples, they’ve managed to stay together in the months since.
Roper and Tolbert teased on “Bachelor Live” earlier this month that they would be marrying in the “next few weeks.” Apparently they meant that quite literally. The nuptials will now air on ABC on Valentine’s Day.
Roper was originally on Soules’ season of “The Bachelor,” during which she infamously revealed she had once posed for Playboy. Tolbert competed for Kaitlyn Bristowe’s affections on “The Bachelorette” just last year. She, of course, is currently engaged to winner Shawn Booth.
Roper and Tolbert now join other wedded “Bachelor Nation” couples, including Trista and Ryan Sutter (who were in attendance), Jason Mesnick and Molly Malaney, Ashley Hebert and J.P. Rosenbaum, Sean Lowe and Catherine Giudici, Lacy Faddoul and Marcus Grodd, as well as Desiree Hartsock and Chris Siegfried. Gossip Cop wishes the newlyweds many congrats.
